Governor and Chief Minister extend holi greetings to people

Himachal Pradesh Governor Mr. Kalyan Singh, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and the entire council of Ministers have extended warm greetings to people of the state on the auspicious occasion of holi festival.

Mr. Kalyan Singh said, “the festival of colors symbolizes harmony, spirit of brotherhood and fraternity in the society. The festival depicts diverse shades of our rich culture and brings about zeal and happiness in the lives of people”.

Governor also hoped that the festival would go a long way in strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation.

On the other hand while felicitating people on this occasion, Mr. Singh prayed for their well being and expressed a hope that this festival of colors would be a harbinger of peace, harmony and prosperity in the state. He also added that holi is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in different parts of the state which facilitates in further strengthening the bonds of unity and brotherhood among the society.
