DAV college students protest against rape of minor

The students of MCM DAV College, Kangra here along with the Students of Federation of India (SFI) today boycotted their classes and took to the streets in protest against the rape of ten years old girl in Thural area of this district and failure of authorities to nab the culprit.

The students, which included large number of girls, boycotted their classes soon after the college started and held demonstration and raised slogans denouncing the crime against the girl and against the government for its failure to nab the culprit. They took the rally in the college road shouting slogans. The protest was led by Vice President of district unit of SFI  Sansar Gularia and  MCM DAV College SFI Unit President Atul Chaudhary and both the leaders denounced the crime against women and stressed on the government to take effective steps to curb such crimes.

They described the protest as an awareness march so that people remain vigilant against such gruesome crimes against minor children. They demanded the President of India should move his office and get stringent law imposed in the country so that minor rape accused too is punished the same way as majors. Both leaders threatened that if the government fails to nab the accused in this rape case the students would be forced to launch an agitation.

  1. Hang these bastards before this rape disease spread in Himachal. Himachal Authorities need to set example before rest of india.
