Former Ministers Mr. Ram Lal Thakur and Mr. Harsh Mahajan today denounced allegations leveled by former party Minister Mr. Vijayendra Singh against Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh in a letter written to the later questioning his continuance in the office.

In a joint rebuttal issued here today they defended six times Chief Minister terming content of scion written in a open letter frivolous and far from the reality. “The accusations seems to be preposterous and politically motivated as former Congress leader has been spreading false canards against five decades long unblemished political carrier of Mr Singh. State has never witnessed such political indecency wherein political adversaries have stooped to the lowest-ebb by unleashing political vendetta against Mr. Singh” they alleged.

Questioning the timing of leveling these baseless allegations, the former Ministers said that it seems that Shri Vijayendra Singh has chosen to go public at the time when BJP was holding its State Level Core Penal meeting at Nalagarh. They said that it was strange that after remaining in wilderness for years Vijayendra Singh has suddenly come out with such unfounded allegations.
