Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) had shown its keenness to hold two matches of IPL-7 at International Cricket Stadium Dharamshala.

Stating this today, HPCA spokesman said that IPL-7 is scheduled to be held from April 16 to June 1, 2014. BCCI has shown its desire to organize two matches at HPCA stadium Dharamshala on May 10 and 14 after keeping beauty and rating of stadium’s international level in mind.

Governing council of IPL and BCC has sent a letter to state government of Himachal Pradesh whether it would be in position to provide security arrangements to international IPL match on May 10 and 14 as the polling of LS elections have been scheduled to be held on May 7, 2014.

Both the bodies are interested to hold few matches at Dharamshala during IPL session. BCCI said that it totally depends upon the HP state government whether it is interested to accept its offer or not. The HPCA is ready to hold these matches at its stadium at Dharamshala. The state cricket body had organized four editions of IPL at Dharamshala.

By organizing these events, HPCA had not only brought Dharamshala HPCA stadium on international platform but also proved beneficial for hospitality industry of this state.
