High reaches of Himachal experiences snowfall

High reaches of Himachal Pradesh were experiencing snowfall while down streams were lashed with rainfall.

Famous tourist resort Kufri, Mashobra and Narkanda experienced fresh snowfall this morning as Met. office had forecast rain or snowfall in the state for today and tomorrow.

Report coming from Chopal, Jubal, Kharapather, Narkanda, Kufri and Mashobra said that snowfall was continue when report was filed. Similarly, this capital town experienced light flakes of snowfall as people came out of their houses this morning.

Manali also reported snowfall on high reaches and rain in the town. Life continues to be snowbound in Dodra Kawar areas of Shimla, Pangi, Bharmour in Chamba district, Chitkul in Kinnaur, Koksar and Marhi after 14 to 15 feet mounting of snow.

Meanwhile cold waves gave little respite in the night as mercury slightly remained ascended during night. Lower hills were partly cloudy. Fresh snowfall is yet to affect the life.
