The budget session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly will commence from February 03 to 21 in the state’s capital, Shimla with no break, an official said today.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the 2014-15 budget on February 07, informed by the official, which will be his 17th budget.
Official sources said that the session has been advanced by a month, keeping in view the enforcement of the election code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, which could come into action from March.
Generally, the budget session is held in first week of March and continues till April, with a week-long break.
