It was organised by the Shimla Christian Community in the capital town in view of the Christmas celebrations scheduled to take place all over the world to spread the message of peace, harmony, good will, love and joy amongst the members of all the communities, faiths and sects to make the planet earth a peaceful place to co-exist in a most harmonious and peaceful environment.

They also thanked the Chief Minister for declaring public holiday on Good Friday, thereby providing opportunity to the members of all the communities to celebrate together the solemn day in a most befitting manner.
