State government doubles registration fees of dentists

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that the registration fee of dentists has been raised from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000.

He said that a separate campus would be developed in the ambit of Shimla town for shifting the government dental college from its present location at IGMC as it is very congested.

Mr. Singh also said that the state government is committed in providing basic health infrastructure even in the most remote and backward areas of the state for delivering basic health services and present facilities and infrastructure of the dental college would be strengthened and expanded after being shifted to new campus.

He was presiding over the inaugural function of the two-day 12th Annual Dental Conference being organized by the Himachal Chapter of Indian Dental Association at Sundernagar in Mandi district.
