Virbhadra Singh speaks on HPCA matter

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have said that his government is in continuous touch with BCCI on the subject of cricket matches in Himachal after the taking over of the properties of HPCA , and they assured that the matches shall go on as usual. Talking to press at TCV Dharamshala Cantt, Mr. Singh refuted the charges of HPCA that government has acted in a dictatorial manner on this subject and said, “Government has given land at Rs. 1/- per year to develop cricket to HPCA, which was a society. Later the HPCA changed itself to a company, which is not acceptable to us, so we have cancelled the lease, where is the dictatorship?”

Replying to another question CM said that he have agreed to appoint three new zonal ayurvedic directors in Dharamshala, Mandi and Shimla. Speaking in the state level ayurvedic doctors function at TCV Dharamshala on Tuesday CM emphasized the need to promote homeopathic, yunani and amachie (Tibetan) system of medicine, so that each person can get the medicine of his choice in the state. CM also inaugurated website of HAMOA (Himachal Ayurvedic Medical officers Association) and ‘Himachal Ayush’ a monthly magazine.
