BJP to replace LPG by induction heater in Himachal Pradesh

Ruling BJP party in Himachal Pradesh promised to relieve people form sharp hike in LPG cylinders after replacing it by induction heaters, the statement was given by the party in its 25 pages manifesto released in Shimla today. BJP national Vice President Shanta Kumar, BJP state Incharge Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, BJP General secretary J.P. Nadda and state President Satpal Sati released this 25 pages party manifesto, focusing party’s program to woo voters in the state.

Giving highlight to party’s manifesto, Mr. Dhumal claimed that induction heater would be given to the families in quandary due to unjustified hike of LPG cylinder. He said that each household could afford the daily use of two unit of power, as power is quite cheap and surplus in the state. He also said that state government would continue the subsidized ration supply in the PDS shops on pulses, mustard and refined oil.

Rejecting Opposition Congress’s claim that diesel is costly in the state due to high rate of VAT, Chief Minister said that state government could not afford the reduction in VAT rate as it was 9.40 percent in the state which is lowest in the country.

Claiming that BJP rule provided employment avenues to 50,000 youths in government sector and one lakh in private, had assured in manifesto to generate employment avenues to 10,000 lakh youths (eradicating total employment) after returning to power. However, he did not made any promise of employment allownce like Congress and CPI(M) which assured Rs 5000 and Rs 10,000 employment allowance to educated youths.
