HP won by one innings and 221 runs against Assam in Ranji Trophy match

Himachal Pradesh won by one innings and 221 runs as Assam could not chase first innings lead of 382 runs by the host on the third day of Ranji trophy match played at HPCA cricket stadium Dharamshala today.

Beginning from yesterdays total of 97 runs on six wicket, Assam could not chase the huge lead of 382 runs of first innings of host as after playing 53 overs entire team returned to Pavilion on total of 191 runs thereby losing innings and 221 runs.

Himachal declared 463 runs on 9 wickets in first innings giving lead of 382 runs. B.B. Sharma scored 102 runs in 130 balls (not out) including 14 boundaries and 1 six and Nikhal Gagata missed century from just 1 run yesterday. In the first innings on November 28 Assam was all out at 81.

Rishi Dhawan of HP took 5 wickets of Assam after giving 58 runs. While V. S. Balik took 3 wickets after giving 40 runs.
