BJP complaints with Election Commision of India against Congress

The Opposition party BJP in Himachal Pradesh registered strong protest over releasing attractive official advertisement, by charging ruling Congress for violation of election code and conduct.

Mandi by election BJP In-charge and Spokesman, Ganesh Dutt has lodged protest with State Chief Electoral officer of Election Commission of India releasing a copy of complaint to media yesterday,  that news items have been appeared in vernacular way containing pictures of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma.

He said that it is sheer violation of election code as 23 achievements of Kangra and other parts of state were highlighted in the advertisement while it did not contain name of advertisers.

Seeking immediate cognizance over this, BJP said that it clearly shows that Congress is violating election code in the state after issuing such advertisement.
