CM lays foundation stone of P.C.B. office complex

Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, laid foundation stone of regional office and residential complex of State Pollution Control Board at Dari, Dharamshala, to be constructed at cost of Rs. 1.62 crore on Thursday.

The three-storied office complex would house various facilities including a conference hall. A residential complex would also be constructed in the complex.

Smt. Vidya Stokes, IPH Minister, Shri Sujan Singh Pathania, MPP, Power & Agriculture Minister, Shri Sudhir Sharma, Urban Development Minister, Shri Kuldeep Pathania, Chairman, State Pollution Control Board, Shri Chander Kumar, Former MP and other prominent persons were present on the occasion.

Shri Virbhadra Singh earlier was given a warm welcome by the Kangra District BAR Association. Shri Tek Chand Rana, President of the Association and other office bearers facilitated Shri Virbhadra Singh on becoming Chief Minister for sixth time and also apprised him of their demands. Chief Minister assured the Association of adequate financial assistance for completing the construction of Court Complex at Dharamshala and added that he had laid the foundation stone of this complex during last tenure. Shri Vinay Kumar, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Shri T.G Negi, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Shri Sureshwar Thakur, District Session Judge, District Judges, members of the BAR Association and other staff members were also present on the occasion.

Later, a delegation of Para-Teachers also met the Chief Minister regarding their demands. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that Government would consider their demands sympathetically.
