Monsoon drizzles lash parts of Himachal

Shimla (Aug 11): Monsoon drizzles lashed parts of Himachal Pradesh while it was dry in rest of the state during last 24 hours.

In Bilaspur district Ghumarwin had highest rainfall in the state (62 mm), Dharamshala in Kangra 27 mm, Berthin & Kheri of Bilaspur 25 mm each, Bhoranj of Hamipur 24 mm, Paonta in Sirmour 15mm, Nahan 14mm. In Mandi district Jogindernagar & Saloni in Chamba 10 mm each, Karsog of Mandi 9 mm, Udaipur of Lahaul Spit 7mm Tissa in Chamba & Sagrah in Sirmour 6 mmeach, Jhandutta in Bilaspur 4, Kalpa of Kinnouar 5 mm, Banjar, Manali of Kullu & Kandaghat of Solan 3 mm.

Minimum temperature was stationary in the state as Kalpa was lowest at 13 degrees, Keylong at 15 degrees, Shimla 16.7 degrees, Dharamshala 18 degrees, Bhuntar and Solan 19 degree each, Sundernagar and Nahan 20 degrees each, Mandi and Palampur 21 degrees and Una 23 degrees, respectively.

The Met office has forecast rain or thundershowers at many places in middle and plain areas and few parts in upper reaches in next 24 hours.
