Himachal IPS officer to head central detective training school

Shimla (July 23): Union home ministry yesterday appointed Himachal
Pradesh cadre Indian Police Service officer SPS Verma as principal of Central
Detective Training School, Chandigarh, for a period of four years. Verma is currently DIG administration at police headquarters here and will be replaced by prithavi Raj (IPS) IG, CID (crime) who will get additional charge.
