Protsahan Scholarship for students travelling long distances

Shimla: While addressing the office bearers of Nahan BJP Mandal in BJP Mandal Milan Programme organized here today, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said that students travelling more than 5 kms daily to reach their schools would be given Protsahan Scholarship ranging between Rs 200 to Rs 300 per month.

He said that students travelling 5 kms would be given the scholarship of 200 and others travelling between 5 to 8 kms of distance would be given Rs 300 scholarship every month. This stipend would be given under the Protsahan Chhatravrity Yojna. He said that this would go a long way in helping the students of poor families.
