Shimla: Hearing a petition on transfer of an employee, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has rapped up the state government for being insensitive to the public and its employees in particular while ordering transfers. The high court has also asked the government to produce by April 1 all file noting on transfers.

Hearing a petition filed by an employee of Kangra Nagar Parishad regarding his transfer, the high court on Monday stated that the government has not been acting in the best interest of the common people. The petition in the case had stated that he was first transferred from Bilaspur to Una on December, 24, 2008, and then to Parwanoo on February 13, 2009, and then to Dalhausi on February 26, 2009. While he joined duty at all the places, he was again transferred from Dalhausi to Kangra on March 2, 2009, which was challenged in the court.

  1. No sir…it's only the "transfers"alone on which the Govt. survives in this otherwise non-descript state! The Govt.'s are 'very sensitive'…look what happened to the state political fate of Shanta Kumar after he 'antagonised' the employees to ask them to 'work' !
