Mandi: Remains of an ancient monolithic temple have been found on the banks of river Beas in Mandi town, generally called temple town of Himachal. The remains of the monolithic Ardhnarishwar temple have been exposed due to erosion on the river bank near the famous Panchvaktra Mahadev temple. Carved out of a sandstone rock, the temple is believed to have been built earlier than the adjoining cluster of temples.
