Cold weather hits HP after fresh spell of snow on the high reaches.

Cold revives in Himachal Pradesh after fresh spell of  snow on the high reaches and lashing the down stream by rain  showers owing to western disturbances affecting the state, the met official said here today.

High reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Kinnuar and Chamba have experienced mild to light spell of snowfall again pushing down the
mercury in the entire state.

Udaipur in Lahaul Spiti registered 6 mm rain, Manali and Kalpa in Kinnaur 5 mm rain and Kotkhai in Shimla 4 mm and Bhuntar 1.4 mm respecitvely.

This capital town was partly cloudy today while it recorded traces of rain during last 24 hrs.

Minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was 0.4 degree Celcius, Shimla 11.6 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 12 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 9.6 degrees, Kalpa 2 degrees and Dharamshala in Kangra 6.5 degrees.

Una was low at 14.9 degrees, Mandi 12.9 degrees, Nahan  in Sirmour 19.5 degrees,  Palampur 14 degrees, Solan 11.2 degrees and Manali 5 degrees.

Maximum temperature of Kalpa 13 degrees, Shimla was 20 degrees, Bhuntar 22.9 degrees, Sundernagar, Dharamshala and Solan 26 degrees
each. Nahan 29 degrees and Una 33 degrees, respectively.

According to forecast rain middle and high reaches would experience rain and snow in next 24 hrs while it would be mainly dry in the plain areas of state.
