Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh high court on Wednesday cleared the decks for the $ 300 million Himalayan Ski Village (HSV) project disposing off a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by some environmentalists.
The project was under controversy ever since it was proposed and created by the previous Congress government. While residents had claimed that it would destroy their local culture, BJP, the then party in opposition, had claimed that it would be a great sucurity threat to the country.
