Trekking tours from Oct 17 in Himachal

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department in association with Western Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (WHMI) and Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), Kullu is organising trekking expeditions on three routes from October 17 to 21.
Two treks are in Shimla district – Sarahan-Bashal Pass (11,500 feet) and Rohru-Larot-Chanshal (4220 meters) – and will be covered in four days, while the third trek – Neuli-Shakti-Dhel-Thatch-Lapah (12000 feet) in Sainj valley of Kullu – will be covered in five days.
Group strength for the three treks is 20, 16 and 25 respectively and participants from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh are taking part in the adventure activity. The department also intends to make it an annual feature, and would add more treks to the programme to attract more adventure lovers.
